Site Rules

Regretfully, No Pets are allowed on the Campsite.

No naked flames (candles, tea lights, lighters etc) inside the tents at any time. Smoking is only permitted in the car park area.

Quiet hours are between 10pm - 8am, please respect other camping families and our neighbours. Quiet hours for whole site bookings are 11pm - 8am. For definition purposes "quiet" is to mean no music playing, no excessive noise i.e. shouting or singing or musical instruments being played.

Bumblebarn Bell Tents is a family friendly, peaceful campsite set in the grounds of our family home and registered smallholding, and is surrounded by wildlife such as Owls, Foxes, Rabbits, Partridge, Horses, Dragonflies and many more. As such we ask that all guests respect the grounds and countryside we are located in. No cars are allowed on the main camping field but you will be able to park in the adjacent car park. Wheelbarrows are provided to help you move your belongings to your tent.

Fires are allowed only in the fire pit.

No fireworks, balloon releases, or sky lanterns as these pose a risk to wildlife.

No non-biodegradable glitter, sequins, confetti etc are to be brought on site or used.

You are permitted to bring your own balloons and banners provided they are disposed of responsibly, ideally in our zero waste to landfill bin.

Sparklers are permitted when used responsibly and at your own risk.

We operate a low noise policy after 10:00pm, and would appreciate your compliance in this matter.

Before use of the Fire Pit and BBQs guests must read the terms of use and health and safety implications and take full responsibility for their safe and proper usage. Full instructions for the use of the fire and cooking equipment can be found in your welcome pack in your tent.

Please inform us during your stay of any accidental damage, so we can identify it as not malicious and replace it for you.

Any aggressive or violent behaviour towards Bumblebarn Bell Tents staff or it's customers will result in you being asked to leave the site immediately. If this behaviour continues, relevant authorities will be involved.

Whole Site Hire

To protect our other campers experiences, please note that parties e.g. Birthdays, Hen and Stag groups etc. are only permitted when the whole site is hired (see here).

However we'd be thrilled to host your party and can offer a range of services, including a licensed mobile bar. We are also able to arrange catering, children's entertainment, holistic therapies and massage, group yoga and more. Please contact us!

When the whole site is hired the booking and deposit payment should be made by one attendee (the 'responsible person') and the balance will be adjusted to include a 10% discount. The responsible person should then contact us to discuss numbers and the nature of your booking, and will be responsible for ensuring all members of their party have read these terms and conditions before they travel for their stay.
